Enspire Learning Selected By Visiting Nurse Service to Train New York Caregivers

Austin, TX and New York, NY – September 3, 2004 – Enspire Learning, a leading provider of e-learning content, has been selected by the Visiting Nurse Service of New York (VNSNY) to create scenario-based e-learning modules for VNSNY’s 8000 caregivers.

Enspire’s medical education team will develop interactive modules to train the nearly 8000 VNSNY caregivers on the assessment, treatment, and ongoing management of Diabetes. Using Enspire’s Interactive Case Study approach, the module will simulate several of the over 2,200,000 annual patient visits made by VNSNY caregivers. The training will involve users in relevant, action-based learning an approach that has been shown to be significantly more effective than traditional e-learning.

Enspire has produced over 100 e-learning modules on a variety of medical education topics, including accredited continuing medical education for physicians and nurses. Its medical education team combines creativity and innovation with a deep understanding of the learning needs of healthcare professionals.
