Enspire Executive to Speak at Serious Games Summit in Washington, DC

Austin, Texas – October 4, 2004 – Enspire Learning, a leading developer of custom e-learning solutions, announced today that its Director of Marketing, Shon Bayer will be speaking on a panel titled, " Game Models for Traditional e-learning/LMS Systems" at the Serious Games Summit D.C.

This panel is designed to describe how to design games for training environments where there is typically little high-end multimedia and few sophisticated games. The developers will focus on the e-learning possibilities for a variety of game types and the many different types of learning activities that can work in traditional e-learning systems. The panel will also discuss the technologies behind modern day games, how learning management systems can be problematic, and how these problems can be addressed in the future.

The panel will be held Monday, October 18 from 5:00pm — 6:00pm . Also participating on the panel will be Doug Nelson (CEO Kinection, Inc.), Andrew Kimball (CEO QBInternational), and Paul Medcalf (Director of Multimedia InSite Interactive ). The Serious Games Summit will be held at the Loews L'Enfant Plaza Hotel in Washington D.C.

Shon Bayer has a diverse background that combines experience in designing, managing, and marketing exceptional online learning programs. At Enspire Learning, Shon has participated in the development of numerous projects, including a multiplayer online business leadership and ethics simulation. Prior to joining Enspire, Shon served in senior management roles at The Princeton Review including Director of Marketing and Executive Director.
